DeepVision was started in 2008 by Fredrik Elmgren and Ulf Långström. The development of a side scan sonar was initially driven by the desire to search for and to discover new shipwrecks. As both have an interest in diving and in the sea, it started primarily as a fun project. Over time, both the company and our products have developed and refined. Today, our sonars are used by professionals in a variety of fields all over the world. In our collection you find products specialized for everything from locating mines to mapping biological natural values, mapping pipelines and cables or searching for missing people etc.
